A Brazilian in Ireland

Baysports

Last weekend, AIT offered to all international students the opportunity to join in some activities in a place called Baysports. It's a water sports club in the borders of the Lough Ree, a lake in the midlands of Ireland, the second of the three major lakes on the River Shannon. The students could choose take part in aquatic sports or cross the lake by boat and make a walking of 5 kilometers through the borders of the river.

I chose the boat trip and the walk route, and it was really nice. We could see some natural places and they are really beautiful. The rest of the students taken part in the aquatic sports such as Kayaking, Chinese Dragon Boating and the Waterpark. 

Was a great moment to meet a lot of people that came from many parts around the world and also we had a lot of fun.

Baysports

No ultimo final de semana, AIT ofereceeu a todos os estudantes internacionais a oportunidade de participar de algumas atividades em um lugar chamado Baysports. É um clube de esportes aquáticos nas fronteiras do Lough Ree, um lago na região central da Irlanda, o segundo dos três grandes lagos no rio Shannon. Os alunos puderam escolher participar em esportos aquáticos ou atravessar o lago de barco e fazer uma caminhada de 5 km pelas bordas do rio.

Eu escolhi o passeio de barco e o percurso a pé, e foi muito bom. Pudemos ver alguns lugares naturais e são muito bonitos. O resto dos alunos participaram em esportes aquáticos, como canoagem, Barco Dragão Chinês e o parque aquático.

Foi um grande momento para conhecer uma grande quantidade de pessoas que vieram de várias partes do mundo e também tivemos um monte de diversão.
