Newgrange and Hill of Tara
AIT have a few trips planned for next week, designated for the international students. One of them is for the Newgrange an ancient tomb and also recognised as a place of astrological, spiritual, religious and ceremonial importance. Newgrange was constructed over 5,000 years ago (about 3,200 B.C.), making it older than Stonehenge in England and the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt. Newgrange was built during the Neolithic or New Stone Age by a farming community that prospered on the rich lands of the Boyne Valley.
One other place that the students will visit is the Hill of Tara an archaeological complex that runs between Navan and Dunshaughlin in County Meath, Ireland. It contains a number of ancient monuments, and according to tradition, was the seat of the High King of Ireland. The bus for this trip will leave at 08:30 am on August 5th, next Tuesday from central campus of AIT.
Lough Key Forest Park
An another trip will be for the Lough Key Forest Park that has for many centuries drawn people to its spectacular views, abundant wildlife, historic buildings and islands. This beautiful landscape is steeped in a rich history. Its an amazing place for who likes Irish history, adventures in a natural place. There is many different activities that you can do do here. The bus for this trip will departure from AIT at 10 a.m. on 5th of August, next Tuesday.

Newgrange e Hill of Tara
AIT tem algumas viagens programadas para a próxima semana, designadas para os estudantes internacionais. Uma delas é para um histórico lugar chamado Newgrange, uma tumba antiga também reconhecida como um lugar de importância astrológica, espiritual, religioso e cerimonial. Newgrange foi construído mais de 5.000 anos atrás (cerca de 3.200 a.C.), tornando-o mais velho do que Stonehenge na Inglaterra e a Grande Pirâmide de Gizé, no Egito. Newgrange foi construído durante o período Neolítico ou Nova Idade da Pedra por uma comunidade agrícola que prosperou nas ricas terras do Vale do Boyne.
Um outro lugar que os alunos vão visitar é chamado Hill of Tara, um complexo arqueológico que corre entre Navan e Dunshaughlin no Condado de Meath, na Irlanda. Ele contém uma série de monumentos antigos, e segundo a tradição, foi a sede do Alto Rei da Irlanda. O ônibus para esta viagem irá sair às 08:30 horas no dia 5 de agosto, próxima terça-feira do campus central do AIT.
Lough Key Forest Park
Uma outra viagem será para o Parque Florestal Lough Key que por muitos séculos tem atraído pessoas para as suas vistas espectaculares, abundante vida selvagem, edifícios históricos e ilhas. Esta bela paisagem é rica em história. É um lugar incrível para quem gosta de paisagens e de história irlandesa, alem de aventuras em um lugar natural. Há muitas atividades diferentes que você pode fazer fazer aqui. O ônibus para esta viagem irá sair às 10:00 horas no dia 5 de agosto, próxima terça-feira do campus central do AIT.
